The night of the 31st matters, of course, but there is something we like even more: if conditions allow, getting up on 1 January and going into the water together.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eA New Year's Eve that leaves room to surf on the 1st\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe have dinner at the Surfhouse, eat the traditional twelve grapes and celebrate together. If the group wants to stay up later, it can. We organise the camp so the celebration and surfing can coexist and, if the sea is right on the 1st, we can start the year by surfing together.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eSurf, video, Surfskate and sessions that are not lessons\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eDuring the camp we connect surf sessions with video analysis and Surfskate so you can understand your surfing better and take those sensations back into the water. When conditions fit, we also have \u003cstrong\u003eSurf Libre sessions\u003c\/strong\u003e, with equipment included: no drills and no lesson pressure, just a chance to try what you learned, share waves and enjoy the water.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt this time of year, the last hours of light can turn an ordinary session into one of those moments that are hard to explain from outside. We do not promise perfect sunsets; we do leave room to be in the water when the day calls for it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eClosing one year together and opening the next\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlongside the surfing, we include a special sound bath session and some time to think about goals and intentions. We are not trying to turn it into a retreat: it is simply a way to stop for a moment, close the year and begin the next one in a different frame of mind.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIf you come \u003cstrong\u003eon your own\u003c\/strong\u003e, we pay special attention to bringing the group together. Breakfasts, sessions, videos, dinners and time at the house mean a group of strangers usually stops feeling that way quite quickly. Meals and dinners that are not included are usually sorted by cooking together or going out around El Palmar and nearby.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe price corresponds to an \u003cstrong\u003eindividual place in a shared room with a bunk bed\u003c\/strong\u003e. The Surfhouse also has a double bed. If you are travelling as a couple and would like to use it, message us when booking and we will confirm whether it is available; requests are subject to availability.
