Roxy/ Quiksilver Surfskates
The Quiksilver brand is synonymous with surf, snow and skate
It was founded in 1970 by two surfers: Alan Green and John Law, and since then it has not stopped growing, especially in the last ten years when they have taken an exponential leap. Today it is one of the most important companies in the world of sports.
They have always specialized in clothing and technical material for the three modalities, surfing, snow and skateboarding, which is why they could not fail to be present in the most recent trend, Surfskate , a modality that also brings together two of the branches where they are so influential.
And unsurprisingly, they've also released their own surfskates for the women's version of the brand: Roxy . Here you will find all the surfskate models from both Roxy and Quiksilver.
For the launch of their surfskates, they did not want to complicate themselves too much in developing their own truck, and they have done what 70% of the brands on the market right now do, and that is to opt for an inverted King Pin truck that simulates the famous original CX from Carver Skateboards.
This places the Roxy and Quiksilver surfskates in the range of the cheapest on the market, under €200, as they have one of the most "simple" trucks (no internal spring). These axes are very stable and ideal for those who are just starting out in this world.
Where they have wanted to put more focus and its value with respect to other brands that have the same axis, is in the designs of the tables , and their shapes . They have some very nice drawings, and very wide boards wanting to provide a great sense of stability, since your feet will have a lot of support surface.
They also have designs in collaboration with several renowned surfboard shapers such as: Mark Richards , Christiaan Bradley and Phil Grace . And even a Pro Model, with professional surfer Leo Fioravanti .
Discover the Roxy and Quiksilver surfskates that you will surely find one that you like, with which you are going to have a great time, and improve your surfing.
