The Gussie Avalanche is already an old acquaintance , since it came out in 2018 it has been one of the best sellers of Slide Surfskates, and that they have kept in the following editions.
It gets its name from the sugar-cane left, Avalanche, which breaks on a rock bottom, located in the town of Guethary on the French Basque coast. Its shape is very uniform, both the nose and the tail are rounded and with volume . Your feet will be very comfortable and you will have a great feeling of stability.
Due to its shape, it is very reminiscent of a water longboard , it even has the wooden reinforcement that the classic wooden boards used to have on the tail .
Along with the new Amuitz and the new Stingray, they make up the Gussie family of Slide Surfskates, boards 31 inches long by 10 inches wide.
Ideal for riders of medium to low stature, or for those of greater size who are looking for tighter turns, sacrificing a good distance between the legs.
For this surfskate model, the Sancheski guys have opted for angled profile wheels, to give the board even more stability. This allows you to put a lot of power into your turns without losing grip.
The Gussie Avalanche is ideal for surf the city !
