Learn to surf independently or correct your mistakes to enjoy every wave more. At Carving Social Club, we offer group and private surf lessons, as well as technical training sessions at El Palmar beach, adapted to different levels and goals.
Whether you live in the province of Cadiz or are on vacation, we tailor our teaching to your actual level so you can make the most of every minute in the water and progress safely.
Surf Lessons in El Palmar All Year Round
From September to May: our lessons meet at the Carving Social Club Surfhouse, located 900 meters from El Palmar beach. We offer free private parking, fresh water showers, changing rooms, lockers, and space for video analysis.
During June, July, and August: we organize lessons directly from associated schools on the beachfront of El Palmar. This way, you can easily access the water during the busiest months.
Which Surf Lesson to Choose
Group Surf Lessons
An ideal option to learn to surf, improve your confidence in the water, and share the experience with other surfers. We organize groups by level so you can learn and progress with people of similar experience.
- From €35 per lesson.

Includes: instructor, board, wetsuit, and insurance.
Private Surf Lessons
A lesson completely focused on you and your goals. This is a good option if you want to learn faster, gain confidence in the water, or work on specific aspects of your technique with the instructor's individual attention.
- From €60 for one person.
- From €100 for two people.
- Schedule adapted to the best conditions of the day whenever possible.
Surf Technical Training with Miguel Rodríguez
Technical training sessions for surfers who already have a basic understanding and want to continue progressing. We work on technical aspects of surfing by recording your waves and providing video analysis to identify mistakes and improve movements like bottom turns, speed generation, and carving.

Surfskate Lessons
Surfskating is a complementary activity to work on aspects such as posture, balance, compression, speed generation, and turns out of the water, which you can then transfer to surfing.

What Happens If Sea Conditions Are Not Good?
Surfing depends on sea conditions. If conditions are not safe or not suitable for your level, we will find the best alternative and, when necessary, reschedule the lesson following our booking and cancellation conditions.
