These terms and conditions govern access to and use of the Carving Social Club website, as well as the purchase of products, activities and services available through our online store.

By using this website or making a purchase or booking, you accept these terms and the specific conditions applicable to the product or service booked.

1. General information

Carving Social Club provides activities and services related to surfing and surfskate, including surf lessons, surfskate lessons, Surf Technique Training, Surf Coaching, Surfcamps and the sale of certain physical products related to our activity.

Our offering includes both in-person services in El Palmar and the surrounding area and services that may be provided remotely, such as Online Surf Coaching.

Specific information about each activity or service, including its content, price, duration, dates, availability, requirements and booking conditions, is shown on the relevant page before purchase.

2. Use of the website

The user agrees to use this website lawfully, responsibly and in compliance with applicable legislation and the rights of third parties.

The website may not be used for fraudulent activities, introducing malicious code, interfering with its operation or attempting unauthorised access to its systems or content.

Carving Social Club may temporarily limit or suspend access to the website when necessary to ensure its security, maintenance or proper operation.

3. Information about products and services

We try to keep all information published on our website accurate and up to date. However, photographs, times, dates, locations, activity planning and availability may vary when the characteristics of the service or external conditions require it.

The specific conditions of each product, activity or service will be those stated in its description at the time of booking.

For surfing-related activities, planning may depend on factors such as sea state, swell, wind, tide, weather, participants’ level and safety conditions.

4. Bookings and contracting

A booking or purchase is considered completed when the user correctly completes the purchase or booking process and payment is confirmed, except for services that expressly state that they are subject to subsequent availability confirmation.

The customer is responsible for providing correct and up-to-date information during the booking process, including contact details and any information required to provide the service properly.

For certain services, it may be necessary to contact Carving Social Club in advance to confirm availability, dates, times, surf level, group composition, accommodation or other aspects related to the activity.

Where a service is subject to a minimum number of participants, specific availability or prior confirmation, this will be stated in the corresponding description.

5. Prices and payments

All prices shown on the website are stated in euros and include applicable taxes where required.

Prices, promotions and commercial conditions may be changed at any time. The price applicable to a booking will be the one shown when the order is placed or the one expressly agreed with the customer in the case of a personalised booking.

Payment will be made using the methods available during checkout or through the system expressly agreed for certain services.

Promotions, discounts and promotional codes are subject to their own conditions and are not necessarily combinable.

6. Lessons, Surf Technique Training, Intensive Surf Coaching and Surfcamps

In-person surfing and surfskate activities are sporting activities that involve risks inherent to their practice.

Participants must follow the instructions of instructors or coaches at all times and comply with safety rules, sea conditions, the practice area and instructions relating to the use of equipment.

Carving Social Club may change times, location, order of activities or session planning when weather, sea, technical or safety conditions make this advisable.

These changes may also be made to seek conditions better suited to participants’ level and the objectives of the booked activity.

6.1 Surf and surfskate lessons

The characteristics of each lesson, including approximate duration, format, number of participants, equipment included and participation requirements, will be those stated in the description of the booked product.

When conditions do not allow a session to take place safely or appropriately, Carving Social Club may reschedule or adapt it, or apply the conditions set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

6.2 Surf Technique Training

Surf Technique Training is aimed at surfers with the level of autonomy stated in the service description and is intended for more specific work on technical, tactical or performance-related aspects.

Participants must provide truthful information about their surfing experience and level so that we can assess whether the service is suitable and organise the session safely.

6.3 Intensive Surf Coaching

Intensive Surf Coaching may take place over one or more consecutive days and combines sessions and analysis designed to work on the participant’s specific goals.

The programme may be adapted during the service according to the surfer’s progress and sea conditions. This may include changes to times, surf spot, session order or work content in order to make appropriate use of the available conditions.

When accommodation at the Surfhouse is offered as an additional service to Intensive Surf Coaching, it is subject to availability and the conditions stated when the booking is confirmed.

6.4 Surfcamps

Surfcamps are organised programmes for specific dates that may combine accommodation, surf lessons, video analysis, surfskate, activities and other services depending on the format booked.

The specific content of each Surfcamp will be as stated on the corresponding product page.

This category also includes the High-Performance Surfcamp, whose characteristics, level requirements, number of participants and included services are set out in its own description.

The daily programme of a Surfcamp may be adapted to sea conditions, weather, safety and group needs without this necessarily constituting a substantial change to the booked service.

6.5 Surfhouse included in certain services

The Carving Social Club Surfhouse forms part of certain Surfcamps and may be offered as an addition to some services where expressly stated.

Dates, duration, room distribution and included services will be those specified in the corresponding booking.

The Surfhouse is not considered included in a lesson, coaching service or other service unless it is expressly stated in the description or booking confirmation.

Participants must respect the rules relating to coexistence, rest, facilities and equipment available in the house.

Any damage caused intentionally or through negligent use of the facilities or equipment may be claimed from the responsible person.

7. Online Surf Coaching

Online Surf Coaching is a personalised remote service based on the material and information provided by the participant.

Depending on the option booked, the service may include video analysis, technical and tactical assessment, physical or mental aspects related to surfing, work recommendations, planning and follow-up.

7.1 Required material

The participant is responsible for providing sufficient videos and information of suitable quality to allow the analysis to be carried out.

If the material received does not allow the service to be performed correctly, we may request new videos or additional information before beginning the work.

7.2 Rights to submitted videos

The participant declares that they have the rights or necessary authorisations to share with Carving Social Club the videos, images and other material submitted for the provision of the service.

Carving Social Club will use this material to carry out the analysis, follow-up and provision of the booked service.

Booking Online Surf Coaching does not in itself authorise the use of the participant’s videos or images for advertising, promotional, commercial or social media publication purposes. Where necessary, separate authorisation will be requested for these uses.

7.3 Start of the service

Where the customer requests that Online Surf Coaching begin before the end of any applicable statutory withdrawal period, we may request their express consent to begin providing the service during that period.

The consequences of cancellation once work has begun will be governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy and applicable law.

7.4 Results

Surf Coaching is intended to provide tools, analysis and recommendations that help participants work on and improve their surfing.

Sporting progress depends on multiple factors, including practice, experience, physical condition, surfing frequency, sea conditions and application of the proposed work. Therefore, booking the service does not guarantee any specific sporting result.

8. Cancellations, changes and refunds

The conditions applicable to cancellation of lessons, Surf Technique Training, Intensive Surf Coaching, Online Surf Coaching, Surfcamps and other services are detailed in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

These conditions form part of the booking conditions of the corresponding service.

Carving Social Club’s commercial conditions apply without prejudice to any rights the consumer has by law.

9. Right of withdrawal

For distance contracts, the right of withdrawal applies where required under applicable law.

The law provides for certain exceptions and specific rules, including those applicable to services that have begun at the consumer’s express request and to certain accommodation or leisure-related services scheduled for a specific date or period of performance.

10. Physical products

Physical products purchased through our store are subject to the purchase, return, withdrawal and warranty conditions established by applicable law.

Customers can consult the corresponding conditions in our Cancellation and Refund Policy and in the information available for each product.

11. Intellectual property

Texts, photographs, videos, logos, designs, graphics, training programmes, educational content and other proprietary elements published on this website belong to Carving Social Club or are used with the appropriate permissions.

These contents may not be reproduced, distributed, modified or used for commercial purposes without prior authorisation.

Reports, analyses, annotated videos, plans or other materials produced specifically as part of a Surf Coaching service are intended for the customer’s personal use unless expressly agreed otherwise.

12. Third-party links and services

This website may include links to or integrate third-party services, such as payment platforms, social networks, booking services, file hosting or other external tools.

Carving Social Club does not control the operation, availability or content of external websites or services, which are subject to their own terms and policies.

13. Website content and photographs

Images, videos and content published on our website are for information purposes and may show activities, facilities, sea conditions or situations that are not available on all dates or formats.

Where a specific feature is included in a product or service, the information stated in its description and corresponding booking conditions will prevail.

14. Liability

Carving Social Club takes reasonable measures to keep the website available, secure and up to date, but cannot guarantee that it will be permanently free of errors, interruptions or technical problems.

During sporting activities, participants must act responsibly, follow instructors’ directions and communicate any relevant circumstance that may affect the safe performance of the activity.

Carving Social Club will not be responsible for consequences arising from a participant’s deliberate failure to follow safety rules or instructions provided during the activity, without prejudice to any liabilities legally attributable to Carving Social Club.

15. Data protection

Users’ personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Data, videos and other information provided for personalised services such as Online Surf Coaching will be processed in accordance with that policy and for purposes related to providing the booked service.

16. Changes to these terms

Carving Social Club may update these terms when necessary to adapt them to legal, commercial, technical changes or changes relating to our services.

The version applicable to a booking will be the one in force at the time it is made, without prejudice to subsequent changes required by law.

17. Applicable law

These terms are governed by applicable Spanish law.

Where the user is a consumer, their rights and the rules on territorial jurisdiction applicable under consumer protection legislation will in all cases be respected.
