Collection: Surf Coaching in El Palmar, Cádiz

If you already surf independently but feel that you keep repeating the same mistakes, this is where more specific work begins. Our Surf Coaching in El Palmar is designed for surfers with basic independence who want to understand what is holding their progression back and work towards a clear goal.

With Miguel Rodríguez you can choose between a Surf Coaching Session, Online Surf Coaching, a 1–5 day Intensive Surf Coaching programme or a Surf Coaching Camp. You do not need to be an advanced surfer: the work adapts to your starting point, your goals and the conditions.

Which format suits you?

Surf Coaching Session

A session to identify what is worth correcting first and work on specific areas of your surfing: body position, speed, turns, wave reading, wave selection or decision-making.

Online Surf Coaching

If you are not in El Palmar, we can work from your own surf videos. We analyse your surfing, define priorities and give you a clear plan to keep training throughout the month.

Intensive Surf Coaching

One to five days focused on technical work, water sessions, analysis and training out of the water. You choose the duration and format —private, semi-private or small group— and we adapt the programme to your level and goals.

Surf Coaching Camp

If you would rather work over several days as part of a group and go through the full process in El Palmar, the Surf Coaching Camp combines training, analysis and accommodation in our Surfhouse.

Work on what is really holding your surfing back

The goal is not to collect exercises or try to correct ten things at once. First we identify which change can make the biggest difference to your surfing and organise the work from there.

Depending on your level, the focus may be body position, speed generation, line, timing, turns, wave reading, wave selection or decision-making in the water.

Analyse, apply and correct again

Surf Coaching works best when we can observe what you do, apply a correction and then see what changes. Depending on the format, we use tools such as video analysis, surfskate, dry-land work and guided surfing to help you understand and repeat out of the water what you need to do on the wave.

On multi-day programmes we can repeat that cycle several times: analyse, apply, review and consolidate.

The conditions are part of the training

We do not force the same exercise into every type of surf. We read swell, wind, tides and the type of wave available to decide where and when each objective makes most sense.

Times, surf spot and part of the content may change if conditions require it. Learning to adapt to the sea is also part of becoming a better surfer.

Still building independence?

If you are still taking your first lessons or want to keep progressing without moving into highly specific technical work, start with our Surf Lessons in El Palmar.

If you want to spend several days surfing, live with the group and combine lessons, Surfhouse life and time in the water, explore our Surf Camps for Adults in El Palmar.
