Group Surf Lessons in El Palmar

Learning to surf is not just about standing up: it is about starting to understand what to do when the next wave arrives. Our group surf lessons in El Palmar are designed to help you build confidence, independence and better judgement in the water from the level you are at now.

You can join if you have never surfed before or if you have already taken lessons and want to depend less and less on the instructor's directions. We organise groups by experience and work with a maximum of 7 people per instructor so the session makes sense for everyone.

Let each lesson give you something for your next surf

If you are starting, the goal is to understand the board, take off, position and how to move safely. If you already catch whitewater or are beginning to surf unbroken waves, we work on helping you recognise where to position yourself, when to paddle and how to make better use of the wave.

We are not trying to get you through a checklist of drills. We want you to leave the water with one or two clear references that you can recognise and repeat on your own.

Lessons adapted to your level and the conditions

El Palmar changes a lot with the tide, wind and swell. That is why we do not teach exactly the same lesson every day. We choose the time and part of the beach that best suit the group's level and adapt the work to what the sea allows.

The forecast helps us organise the session, but the final decision is made by looking at the actual sea. Learning to read those conditions is also part of becoming more independent.

One lesson or several for continuity

You can book one session or choose several lessons. A first lesson is useful for starting or getting back into surfing; several sessions let you return to the water with what you learned, correct things again and consolidate the feeling.

The equipment needed for the lesson is included. After booking, we confirm the time and meeting point according to the expected conditions.

Group, private or Surf Coaching?

A group lesson is the natural option if you want to learn or keep gaining independence while sharing a session with people of a similar level. If you prefer more attention and correction time, choose our Private Surf Lessons.
