Surf, learn, and live with professional surfers in a unique experience in El Palmar. Our special Celebrity Surfcamp editions bring together invited professional surfers at our Surfhouse to share surf sessions, knowledge, and experiences with a small group of adults.

It's not just about surfing more, but about understanding surfing better: observing how professionals train and read waves, receiving direct advice from them, and enjoying a few days of surfing in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

A Different Surf Experience

Each edition features a guest professional surfer who shares their experience, their way of understanding surfing, and their knowledge with the group. The sessions are adapted to each participant's level so you can make the most of your stay, whether you want to improve specific details or simply want to surf and learn surrounded by people passionate about the sea.

  • Ariane Ochoa: Spanish professional surfer and a benchmark in women's surfing, with extensive experience in competition and on the international circuit.
  • Dani Aznar: professional surfer with extensive experience in competitive surfing and knowledge focused on technical improvement and performance in the water.

Surf, Video, and Training

In addition to the surf sessions, we use the Surfhouse to work on different aspects that can help you progress in the water.

  • Video analysis: we review your waves on a big screen to detect details and better understand what you can improve.
  • Surfskate: we use off-water training to practice movements, posture, and fluidity that you can then apply to surfing.
  • Close monitoring: small groups so you can receive advice and corrections during the different sessions.
  • Community living: you share accommodation, meals, and free time with the rest of the group and with the guest surfer.

A Surfhouse to Live the Surf Life

We stay at our Surfhouse in El Palmar, just 900 meters from the beach. A private property with a swimming pool, common areas, space for training, and a peaceful atmosphere where you can rest between sessions and share the experience with the group.

Celebrity Surfcamps are exclusively for adults and are organized in special editions with limited spots. Each one may have a different program and guest surfer.

We keep the groups small so that the experience is intimate and there is time to share and learn directly with the guest professional surfer.

Our surf camp season runs from September to May. We do not run surf camps in June, July, and August.

2. How long have you been organizing surf camps?
We have been organizing surf camps since 2016 and have had our own Surfhouse in El Palmar since 2022.

3. Do you offer discounts for groups of 5 or more people?
Yes, for groups of 5 or more people we offer personalized discounts of up to 30%. Contact us via WhatsApp (+34 647 066 320) or email (info@carvingsocialclub.com) indicating the number of people, dates, and whether you are booking more than 30 days in advance.

4. Can I go to the surf camp alone?
Yes, many people come alone. It's a great opportunity to meet other surfers with similar interests and become part of our community.

5. Are sheets and towels included?
Yes, all rooms include bed linens and bath towels. We also provide shower gel and shampoo.

6. Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, our Surfhouse does not allow pets to ensure a quiet and safe environment for all guests.

7. What if I have food intolerances?
Please notify us in advance of any dietary restrictions and we will adapt the breakfasts and barbecue to your needs.

8. Can I stay longer?
Yes, if there is availability, you can extend your stay. Contact us to check prices and availability.

9. Is there WiFi at the Surfhouse?
Yes, there is free WiFi throughout the Surfhouse, although we encourage you to disconnect and enjoy the experience.

10. What happens if sea conditions are not good?
Our instructors will assess the conditions and adapt the lessons accordingly. If surfing isn't possible, we'll do surfskating and theory sessions.

11. What should I bring to the surf camp?
Comfortable, warm clothing (it can get chilly at night), beach towel, high-SPF sunscreen, flip-flops, hat, reusable water bottle, swimwear for the pool, and toiletries. You don't need to bring a surfboard or wetsuit; all surfing equipment is provided.

Transportation

Transportation is not included in our surf camps, but we're here to help you arrange it. Below are some options for getting to El Palmar comfortably:

If you are coming from Madrid

  • Group of 8 people or more : If you manage to gather a group of at least 8 people, we can pick you up for 30 euros each way.
  • On your own : The most convenient option is to take the train to Seville and rent a car there to drive to El Palmar.

Other popular options

  • Plane : Fly to Jerez de la Frontera. Once there, we can help you arrange an airport pickup to take you directly to our Surfhouse.
  • Train : Take the train to San Fernando (Cádiz). From there, we can arrange a pickup to take you to El Palmar.
  • Bla Bla Car : this app usually offers trips between Madrid and El Palmar, or Conil; in Conil we could pick you up.
