At the end of October, El Palmar has a version we especially like: less summer around us and much more camp life inside the house.
From 30 October to 2 November 2026 we spend the All Saints long weekend surfing, training and sharing the Surfhouse with a group that has come for the same reason. We keep the thread of the day so you do not have to organise every part separately.
From the water to the house and from the house back to the water
After the sessions we use video to understand better what happened and Surfskate to repeat on land movements that last only a few seconds on a wave. If conditions allow, in the afternoon we go back to the sea together for a Surf Libre session, with equipment included.
At that point we are no longer in lesson mode: you can try what we worked on without feeling that someone is evaluating every wave, or simply surf, share peaks and enjoy the water with the group. When it coincides with sunset, the whole session changes tone.
The Surfhouse is part of the camp, not just where you sleep
The group has breakfast together, comes back from sessions together, discusses the videos, cooks, rests and decides what to do with the free parts of the day. If you come on your own, we make an effort to bring you into the group from the first moment; if you come with friends, you all become part of the same group.
If one afternoon the sea is not worth another surf or people want a change of scene, we can head to Vejer, Los Caños or make another plan. And if most people want the water and the conditions are good, there is not much to debate: we go surfing.
Meals and dinners that are not included often become another meeting point, either cooking together at the house or going out locally.
The price corresponds to an individual place in a shared room with a bunk bed. The Surfhouse also has a double bed. If you are travelling as a couple and would like to use it, message us when booking and we will confirm whether it is available; requests are subject to availability. If no couple requests it, the double bed will be allocated by lottery among individual participants.

After booking
Approximately one week before the Surf Camp, we create the WhatsApp group. We ask about your experience in the water, share the schedule, and start organizing groups by level.
In the days leading up to the camp, we monitor wave forecasts, period, wind, and tides to choose the best times and surf spots that fit the conditions.
The program may be adjusted if the ocean changes, but by the time you arrive in El Palmar, much of the groundwork is already laid.
Waiting list and second Surfhouse
If an edition appears full, you can write to us via the WhatsApp button on the website to sign up for the waiting list.
We have a second Surfhouse that we can open if we gather an additional group of at least five people and the house is available. In that case, we will contact you to confirm the new spot before payment.
When we use both Surfhouses, participants can be accommodated across both houses, but they are part of the same Surfcamp and share the program, meals, and activities.

Frequently asked questions
What ages are participants usually?
Surfcamps are exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Most people who join are between 25 and 45, with groups commonly spanning both 25–35 and 35–45. Age does not determine level: we organise sessions according to each participant's experience.
Do I need previous experience?
No. We organise groups based on each participant's level, from beginners to more independent surfers.
Can I come alone?
Yes. It's common for part of the group to arrive without knowing the others beforehand.
What accommodation is included?
It includes 3 nights in our Surfhouse. We have shared rooms and a double room, which is prioritised for couples and assigned based on availability.
What meals are included?
It includes breakfasts during the stay and the Saturday night barbecue. Other meals are not included.
Is surf equipment included?
Yes. Surfboard, wetsuit and rash guard are included during activities and Surf Libre sessions.
How do you organise groups and schedules?
Before the Surfcamp, we ask about each participant's experience and follow wave, wind and tide forecasts to prepare groups, schedules and surf spots. If conditions change, we can adjust the programme.
How do I get to El Palmar and how do we get around during the Surfcamp?
Transport to El Palmar is not included. Once here, we transport the surf equipment in the van and organise the group for transfers to the beaches. If you need help organising your arrival, please contact us via WhatsApp.
Is insurance included?
Yes. Accident insurance during activities is included.
What happens if sea conditions change?
Forecasts can change right up to the last minute, so we organise sessions around the actual conditions and may adjust times, area or programme order to make the most of the best available windows safely. If an included surf lesson ultimately cannot take place and it is also not possible to reschedule it during the Surfcamp, you do not lose it: it will remain pending for 12 months, so you can use it on a future visit or apply its value towards a future Surfcamp. See the full policy.
What happens if it is windy or conditions do not allow surfing?
Surfing depends on nature, and wind, swell, tides and weather are part of any surf trip. A Surfcamp is a scheduled multi-day experience combining accommodation, group life and different activities, so an unfavourable forecast or the inability to run one or more surf sessions does not in itself mean that the Surfcamp is cancelled or automatically entitle the participant to a refund.
We follow the conditions closely and adapt the programme to make the best possible use of each day. If it is not safe to enter the water, we will not run the surf session and may reorganise the programme with activities related to the experience, such as Surfskate, video analysis, surf technique and theory, ocean reading, surf-specific training, mobility, physical preparation or other group activities. We will always try to use any suitable surfing window, but we cannot guarantee that every planned session or a fixed number of hours in the water can take place when natural conditions prevent it.
Cancelling or adapting one activity does not mean cancelling the whole Surfcamp. Decisions about water activities are made by Carving Social Club and its technical team, with group safety always the priority.
How are rooms and beds allocated?
The price corresponds to an individual place in a shared room with a bunk bed. The Surfhouse also has one double bed. If you are travelling as a couple and would like to use it, contact us when booking and we will confirm whether it is available. The request is subject to availability and does not guarantee allocation until Carving Social Club confirms it. If no couple requests the double bed, it will be allocated by lottery among individual participants.
