Arnette Surfcity Festival Barcelona 2016 - Carving Social Club

Arnette Surfcity Festival Barcelona 2016

As many of you already know, the weekend of April 7th we were in Barcelona in charge of the Surfskate section sponsored by G-Shock at the Arnette Surfcity Festival 2016.

It was an incredible weekend. We met a lot of people, discovered new brands related to surfing and skateboarding, and most importantly, we got many people to try a surfskate for the first time.

One of the images that best summarized the weekend was seeing that, even hours after our activity ended, there were still people using the track and trying out the boards.

We want to thank everyone who came, who came to say hello, the festival organization, and of course, our entire team.

Surfskate to try and share

During the festival, we brought different boards so that attendees could try them and compare sensations.

For many, it was their first contact with surfskate and it was especially gratifying to see how the track remained full almost until the end of the day.

That is precisely one of the things we enjoy doing most at Carving: sharing boards, knowledge, and spaces with people who are curious about surfing and everything related to it.

Carving also in Barcelona

At that stage, we also had our own team in Barcelona, where we continued to organize sessions and bring surfskate to people who wanted to try it or learn.

A festival centered around surfing

Throughout the weekend, Surfcity brought together surf, skate, gear, music, brands, and many people around a shared culture.

We took away many new faces, many conversations, and most importantly, many people who rode one of our boards for the first time.

Here are two videos from the festival:

Thank you, Barcelona.
