There are many ways to start a year. Ours is surfing. From December 29th to January 3rd, we spent six days in El Palmar to close out 2026 and begin 2027 by the sea, with surfing, shared time, and also space to relax.

You don't need to have a specific skill level, and you can come alone. We organize sessions by level so that everyone can make the most of the Surfcamp from their current point.

A New Year's Eve that starts several days before

By the time December 31st arrives, we have already spent several days sharing sessions, breakfasts, the Surfhouse, and time with the group. We have New Year's Eve dinner at the house, with grapes, a toast, and a table that by then no longer gathers a group of strangers.

The idea is not to fill these days with activities. There's surfing, but also time to rest, be at the house, and reach the end of the year without having to follow the usual pace of a New Year's Eve.

Closing one chapter before starting the next

Before saying goodbye to 2026, we set aside a moment to think about what we want to leave behind and what we want to take with us into the new year.

We also share a sound bath with Tibetan bowls, a space to slow down before entering 2027.

We don't seek to turn it into a ceremony or a list of impossible resolutions. Simply to create the space to start the year with a little more intention.

The first swim of 2027

If conditions allow, we start the year by entering the water together. There's no better way to explain this Surfcamp than that first morning: waking up in El Palmar, checking the sea conditions, and having the first plan of the year be to surf.

Throughout the stay, we monitor wave forecast, period, wind, and tides to organize sessions and groups. When conditions allow for a second swim, we also try to get back in the water for our Free Surf, this time without exercises or corrections.

The Surfhouse during these six days

You'll stay in our Surfhouse in El Palmar, with two shared rooms for four people and one room with a double bed. Between sessions, it's the place to rest, check the waves, share time with the group, or simply take a break.

In the mornings, we prepare breakfast for the guests. The double room has priority for couples, and if available, it is assigned in order of reservation confirmation.

After booking

About a week before the Surf Camp, we create a WhatsApp group. We ask you about your experience in the water, share the schedule, and start organizing groups by level.

In the days leading up to the camp, we monitor wave, swell, wind, and tide forecasts to choose the times and surf spots that best suit the conditions.

The schedule may be adjusted if the sea conditions change, but when you arrive in El Palmar, a good part of the six days is already prepared.

Group discounts cannot be combined with Early Bird or Yo Vuelvo. If a booking qualifies for several non-combinable promotions, the most advantageous option is applied.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations more than 30 days in advance: 100% refund.
Cancellations between 15 and 30 days in advance: 50% refund.
Cancellations less than 15 days in advance: no refund.

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your spot to another person. When possible, we may also consider crediting the amount towards a future date.

The schedule may be modified or rescheduled if sea conditions do not allow activities to be carried out safely.

If Carving Social Club cancels the Surfcamp, you can choose between a 100% refund of the amount paid or an alternative that you expressly accept.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior experience?
No. We organize groups according to each participant's level, from those starting from scratch to more independent surfers.

Can I come alone?
Yes. It's common for part of the group to arrive without knowing the others beforehand.

What accommodation is included?
It includes 5 nights in our Surfhouse. We have shared rooms and a double room, which is prioritized for couples and assigned subject to availability.

What meals are included?
Breakfasts during the stay, a barbecue during the Surfcamp, and a special New Year's Eve dinner with grapes and a toast are included. Other meals are not included.

Is surf equipment included?
Yes. Surfboard, wetsuit, and rash guard are included during activities and Free Surf.

What do we do on New Year's Eve?
We share dinner at the Surfhouse, the grapes, and a toast. During these days, we also set aside time to close out the year, set resolutions for 2027, and share a sound bath with Tibetan singing bowls.

Do we surf on January 1st?
If conditions allow, yes. Our intention is for the first surf of 2027 to be together, but as always, the schedule and surf spot depend on the sea conditions.

How do you organize groups and schedules?
Before the Surfcamp, we ask about each participant's experience and follow the wave, wind, and tide forecasts to prepare groups, schedules, and surf spots. If conditions change, we can adjust the program.

How do I get to El Palmar and how do we get around during the Surfcamp?
Transportation to El Palmar is not included. Once here, we transport the surf equipment in the van and organize the group for transfers to the beaches. If you need help organizing your arrival, message us on WhatsApp.

Is insurance included?
Yes. Accident insurance during activities is included.
