Breathing and Apnea Training Course for Surf

We're repeating our Respiratory Training and Apnea Course!
After the success of the first edition and many of you missing out on a spot, we've prepared a new course for November 23rd and 24th.
We are especially excited to organize it again because we believe that understanding our breathing and learning to remain calm in uncomfortable situations in the water can be a very valuable tool for any surfer.
Breathing, Apnea, and Surfing
Anyone who has been surfing for a while knows that feeling: a wipeout, several waves on top, a few seconds underwater, and breathing starts to dictate how we react.
The goal of this course is to better understand what happens in those moments and to learn tools to work on breathing, apnea, and fear management in a more conscious and safe way.

Daniel Enrique Lorenzo
The course will be taught by Daniel Enrique Lorenzo, a sports science graduate specializing in high-performance surfing with a university master's degree in respiratory training.
For over ten years, he has focused his work on respiration applied to sports and has taught courses in various countries to hundreds of students.
He has also worked with professional surfers such as Ramón Navarro, Greg Long, Coco Nogales, Pablo Solar, and Dani García.
Daniel also collaborates with our friends at Todo Surf, with whom we have organized these course editions in Madrid.
Our Sports Director, Rubén Cortés, had been following his work for some time, and we were particularly excited to incorporate this Respiratory Training and Apnea Course for both our Surf Training students and other surfers in Madrid.

Another Tool to Improve Our Surfing
The entire Carving team is looking forward to taking the course.
Breathing and how we react when a situation in the water gets complicated are aspects we often pay less attention to than technique on the board, but they are also part of surfing.
That's why this work fits particularly well with what we've been developing for some time in our Surf Training in Madrid.
Update: Our regular activities are currently held in El Palmar. You can check our current Surfcamps in El Palmar here.
See you in the water. Keep Carving!
