Why Carving Social Club no longer offers Surfskate lessons in Madrid or Surf Training in Chamartín

For over 11 years, Carving Social Club was the epicenter of surfing in Madrid. Since 2010, we pioneered surfskating in Spain, led sales of the most iconic brands in the industry across Europe, and developed unique Surf-Specific Training programs at Forus Chamartín. Our classes in Retiro Park, Madrid Río, the Chamberí Pumptrack, and our wake surf sessions at the San Juan Reservoir became a benchmark for hundreds of Madrid surfers who wanted to maintain their connection with the ocean.

But the time came to take the final step.

Why we no longer offer Surfskate and Surf Training classes in Madrid

The answer is simple: we wanted to be where the surfing really happens . For years, we helped the Madrid community train, improve their technique, and prepare for their trips to the coast. We organized trips to the best spots in Spain and Morocco and watched our students progress in the water. But there was always a limitation: the ocean was hundreds of kilometers away.

We wanted to offer more than just dry-land training. We wanted to be on the beach, with the waves right there, where we could apply all that technical knowledge immediately and consistently. So we decided to concentrate all our resources in El Palmar de Vejer, Cádiz , one of the best surf spots in Europe.

El Palmar: Our Permanent Home

Today, Carving Social Club is based at our Surfhouse in El Palmar , where we've brought all the experience, methodology, and passion we developed in Madrid. Here we offer:

• Surf camps for adults from September to May: weekends, long weekends, and intensive programs.
• Surf Camps with Miguel Rodríguez : video analysis, biomechanical correction and advanced coaching.
• Daily surf lessons with experienced instructors and high-quality equipment.
• Surfskate lessons in El Palmar to continue improving your technique out of the water.
• An authentic community of surfers who share the same passion for the ocean.

What services do we no longer offer in Madrid?

From now on, we no longer offer the following services in Madrid :

• ❌ Surfskate lessons in Retiro Park (all levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced, parents and children)
• ❌ Surfskate lessons in Madrid Río
• ❌ Surfskate lessons at Pumptrack Chamberí
• ❌ Surf Training at Forus Chamartín (group sessions in pool and gym)
• ❌ Wake surfing at the San Juan Reservoir
• ❌ Monthly subscriptions and class and training vouchers in Madrid

All those services are a thing of the past because we have evolved towards something better: real surfing, on real waves, with top-level technical training .
