From October 9th to 12th, we have four days to surf, rest between sessions, and allow each session to flow seamlessly into the next. The October long weekend kicks off our autumn season with enough time for multiple water sessions, reviewing what happens in each, and trying it again in the next.

You can come alone, and no prior experience is needed. We organize sessions by level so you can start from scratch or continue working from where you are.

Four days to give continuity to your surfing

When you spend several days by the sea, each session can connect with the next. What happens one day can be reviewed on video, worked on out of the water, and then re-attempted with more context.

And when conditions are right, we return to the water for Free Surf: another session with the group, without exercises or corrections, just to surf.

October puts surfing back in the spotlight

Around this time, El Palmar begins to regain its surf season rhythm. We monitor the forecast in the days leading up to the trip to organize schedules, groups, and surf spots according to the swell, wind, and tides.

We don't arrive at the long weekend to decide on the fly. We prepare the sessions before you arrive and adjust the program if conditions change.

Time in and out of the water

Between sessions, there's time to relax in the Surfhouse, have breakfast with the group, discuss the waves, or simply take a break.

On Saturday night, we prepare the barbecue included for guests. After several days sharing water, breakfasts, and the Surfhouse, the group has little resemblance to the one that arrived on Friday.

If you come alone, you're not the exception

It's common for many people to arrive without knowing anyone. Sharing several days of surfing, breakfasts, Free Surf, and time at the house makes integrating quite natural.

If these dates don't work for you, you can check the rest of our Long Weekend and Holiday Surfcamps for the season.

After booking

Approximately one week before the Surfcamp, we create the WhatsApp group. We ask about your experience in the water, share the schedule, and start organizing groups by level.

In the days leading up to the camp, we monitor wave, swell, wind, and tide forecasts to choose the best times and surf spots that match the conditions.

The program may be adjusted if the sea conditions change, but when you arrive in El Palmar, much of the groundwork is already laid.
