Surf & Surfskate Trips in Somo and Loredo with La Wave

For several years now, Carving Social Club has chosen La Wave Surf School & Surf House as one of our regular bases when we travel north to surf.

We especially like the treatment from Ali, Carlos, and Andrés, the atmosphere of the Surf House, and everything that happens around the surfing days: breakfasts, barbecues, afternoons relaxing in the garden, new people arriving at the house, and many hours talking about waves.

In the end, the trip is not just about getting in the water. It's also about everything that happens before and after each session.

Somo and Loredo for surfers of different levels

We also find Somo and Loredo beach to be a perfect place to organize these types of trips.

Its more than four kilometers of beach allow for finding different zones and conditions, both for those taking their first steps and for intermediate or more experienced surfers.

Around ten trips already

By now, we've probably organized around ten trips to the area, and one of the things we like most is seeing what happens afterward.

These trips have led to friendships, groups that continue to meet up to skate after returning to Madrid, and people who start organizing their next surfing getaways together.

Surfskate also when we travel

As surfskate lovers, our boards also travel with us.

We like to use them during trips to continue working on movements out of the water, try different sensations, and simply keep skating when we're not surfing.

We make them available during the week and usually also look for a moment to go down to the Somo skatepark, both with those who already skate and those who want to try a surfskate for the first time.

We're back this summer

For the last week of July, we're returning to Somo and Loredo with another of our Surf & Surfskate Trips.

A week to surf as much as possible, continue learning in and out of the water, and share a few days with people who are coming to do exactly the same thing.

If you've been with us before, you probably know exactly what we're talking about.
