Surf House in El Palmar for Surfers

Our Surfhouse is Carving Social Club's base in El Palmar. It is a house about 900 metres from the beach, from which we organise our Surfcamps and much of what we do during the season.

We wanted a place built around surfing: close to the sea, with room to rest between sessions, spend time with other people and have everything you need for several uncomplicated days in El Palmar.

A house built around surfing

The Surfhouse sits on a private 510 m² plot and has a swimming pool, garden, porch, equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, private parking and shared areas where you can relax after being in the water.

The house has three bedrooms: two shared rooms with two bunk beds each and one room with a double bed, plus two bathrooms, a living room and kitchen.

The beach is about 900 metres away, so you can walk there and return to the house between sessions without organising your whole day around the car.

During a Surfcamp, the Surfhouse becomes the meeting point

When you join one of our Surfcamps, the house is part of the programme. It is where the group stays, where breakfast is prepared in the morning and where we return between sessions to rest, talk about the waves or simply spend time together.

It is also where we hold some video-analysis sessions, share the barbecue and where many of those moments that are not written into the programme but are part of the days in El Palmar end up happening.

When conditions allow, part of the group may go back into the water for a Surf Libre session: without lesson pressure, to practise what we have worked on through video analysis and Surfskate, share waves and enjoy the water together. These sessions often coincide with the last hours of daylight.

Surf Coaching from El Palmar

The Surfhouse can also be part of some Surf Coaching formats. The Surf Coaching Camp includes the stay specified on its product page, while with Intensive Surf Coaching you can request accommodation in the Surfhouse as an optional extra, subject to availability and the product conditions.

The Surf Coaching Session does not require accommodation and Online Surf Coaching takes place remotely. The Surfhouse is not offered as standalone accommodation from this page.

El Palmar and much more nearby

The Surfhouse is in El Palmar de Vejer, on the Cádiz coast. During our season, from September to May, El Palmar returns to a rhythm much more closely connected to surfing.

And when you want a break from the water, Vejer, Conil and Los Caños de Meca are nearby, along with restaurants, beaches and other places along the La Janda coast.

Carving's base in El Palmar

Carving Social Club is an association dedicated to the promotion, teaching and practice of surfing and board sports. The Surfhouse works as a base and meeting point in El Palmar during our Surfcamps, training days and surf-related programmes.

Much of the activity outside the water happens here: accommodation for groups during programmes that include it, video analysis, physical preparation, breakfasts, meetings and shared time between sessions.

A week living around surfing

During the One-Week Surfcamp in El Palmar, the house becomes the place from which we share the day, rest between sessions and prepare for the next surf. The first date will be 7–13 February 2027 and you can pre-register without paying.
